In Japan, people often go to movie, aquarium, amusement park, restaurants, coffee shop...and so on. Some men treat on a date, but I don't like it. I feel it's bad for men. X-(
How about your counturies?
I went to an amusement park in my first date. First, I was very nervous, but we could enjoy and gradually became familiar. In Japan, people often ride in a ferris whell, but I 'm weak in high places. I was asked to ride it, but I refused to do.. :-(

Usually, American men like to pay on dates. Some couples alternate paying or pay half each time. I think American women like men paying but I could be wrong.
On my first date, I went to a coffee shop. We were friends so we just talked a lot. I felt awkward but I had fun!
