アメリカで、今日はHalloweenです。日本で、この公休日がありますか。Halloweenは私いちばん公休日です。今日、ヂズニの“Sleeping Beauty"いしょうをつけていました。MSUデ、たくさんHalloweenのパーテイーがあります。とても楽しです！昨日、４友だちと"Haunted"の家に行きました。とてもこわいでした！私はよくかなきりごえでいました。明日、日本語の授業から友だちのパーテイーに行ってつもりです。じゃ、ねらなくちゃいけません。あしたまで！

About Halloween

Hi, This is Tomoko.
In the end of every Octorber, Do you celebrate halloween, don't you?
In Japan, we don't celebrate it, but we often enjoy it as one fun event.
For example, we ate pumpkin taste sweets, or recently, some people put some decorations in thieir garden. Maybe I think it's started since Tokyo Disney Land took this halloween event over their park as an Autumn event, because we didn't have any fun events during Autumn.
But I don't know how really American people celebrate it, and why people started celebrate it.

She has a fine fur and often mends me.
But, she is a handful and selfish. I don't know who she takes after...

Trip to Kyoto ☆

Yesterday, I went to Travel agency to reserve Japanese style hotel in Kyoto.
Next month, I am going to go to Kyoto for sightseening.
I will try to serch about best places of Kyoto by hand.
I am looking forward to going to ‘Arashiyama’（嵐山）.
‘Arashiyama’is famouse of bwautiful scean, and beautiful colored leaves.
I want to go there, so I reservated handy hotel to go to ‘Arashiyama’easily.
I want you to go there when you come to Kyoto.

My name is Mai Sato. This name has some meanings.
My last name is Sato(佐藤). Sa(佐) means help and tou(藤)　means a big tree in English.
Parents name their children with their wish that parents want their children to grow up like names.
In my case, my first name is Mai(真維). Ma(真)　means truth and i(維) means maintenance in English, so when I unite two letters, my name means 'maintain truth'. I can know my parents' wish for me.

Hello, this is Tomoko. Today, I studied about "Name"at the Cross-Cultural Studies class.
I found out that naming way is different in each countries. So, I 'd like to know your name and the origin of your name.
As for me, my name is Takabayashi(last name) Tomoko(fiest name), in Chinese character, 高林(last)　朋子(first). 高林 means "wood at high place", and when I translate 朋子　straightly, it means "double moon child", but I don't know the real origin of my first name. My mother said it's the old Japanese actress's name....
